1Day 1 — Arrival & Old Town Stroll

Land in Sarajevo, settle into the hotel, and ease into the trip with a gentle evening in the old town.

• Private family transfer from Sarajevo International Airport, with child seats on request
• Easy early-evening walk through Baščaršija — the Sebilj fountain and its famous pigeons, a hit with little ones

We keep day one short on purpose: no early starts, no long drives, just time to land and reset.

2Day 2 — Cable Car & Vrelo Bosne

Two of Sarajevo's gentlest highlights — big views with zero hiking required.

• Trebević cable car to the pine forests and panoramic ridge above the city (tickets included)
• Vrelo Bosne: horse-drawn carriage along the tree-lined avenue to the spring, with space to run and play (entry included)
• Lunch at a riverside restaurant with highchairs and room for a pushchair

Both stops are pushchair-friendly, with cafés and rest stops built into the day.

3Day 3 — Mostar, Konjic & the Lake

The signature one-day Mostar tour, slowed down for families — Konjic and the Jablanica lake road on the way south.

• Konjic: the 17th-century Ottoman stone bridge over the emerald Neretva
• Boat ride on Jablanica Lake between the mountains — calm water, life jackets in child sizes (included)
• Mostar: Stari Most, the old bazaar and the panoramic viewpoint (entry included)

Regular breaks on the drive south, and the day flexes around nap times — your guide sets the pace with you.

4Day 4 — Blagaj & Kravice Waterfalls

The children’s favourite day: the emerald Buna spring and a waterfall pool you can paddle in.

• Blagaj: the Buna river spring beneath the cliff, with a relaxed breakfast by the water
• Kravice waterfalls: a 25-metre curtain of falls with a shallow swimming and paddling area
• Picnic-style lunch by the falls, then an unhurried drive back to Sarajevo

Bring swim shoes for the little ones — the water is cool and clear, with lifeguards in season.

5Day 5 — Tunnel of Hope & Free Afternoon

A short, powerful morning visit, then a completely free afternoon to do exactly what your family needs.

• Tunnel of Hope museum — a one-hour visit with a guide who tells the story gently for young listeners (entry included)
• Free afternoon: hotel pool, a Sarajevo park, or one last loop of the bazaar for souvenirs
• Farewell family dinner — Bosnian favourites and a sweet finish of baklava and tufahija

6Day 6 — Last Morning & Departure

A slow breakfast, one last Bosnian coffee, and a smooth transfer home.

• Free morning for last-minute copper souvenirs and one more walk through Baščaršija
